FYI for those who have a Hannspree HF-259 monitor.
I have an older Hannspree Monitor (HF-259), and it started to act up. Upon turning it on or coming out of screensave, the letters, screen would jitter. While it was warming up for about 1/2 hr, it would quit and screen would become normal. Looking at the capacitors on the power supply board showed no evidence of blowing tops, (they were panasonic caps), So I decided to replace all the caps in the power supply and inverter board. (combination board). I replaced all the caps with Rubycon capacitors. Now the monitor is running perfectly...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Hi everybody. I work on various things. From working on Computers to being a mechanic, carpenter, electrician. Pretty much a jack of all trades. I was raised on a farm and expected to do most everything. I like working and fixing things. I build and fix computers on the side, and enjoy the HI-TECH living. (Yes 4K is a must). I work at a motel as a desk clerk. I'm getting close to retiring and I have slowed down a lot. I used to work two jobs but gave up one job.
