I bought a faulty ASUS X99-PRO with an i7-5820K. I tested the CPU in another motherboard, and it's working fine. The motherboard had a short circuit, but I found the source of it using this forum. It was the Richtek RT8065ZQW DC/DC converter. Now the board doesn't turn off instantly when powered on, but the Q-CODE display shows an error code 00, and the fans spin on both the GPU and CPU cooler.
