My workhorse of a MacBook finally gave up on me. I put my MacBook to sleep and when I returned and woke it up I no longer had an image. Strange about all of this is that when I long press the power button to turn it off the screen flashes with the image before shutting down. Upon power up the screen remains blank but I can clearly see that the backlight works from the light seen around the edges of the display. I have no idea where to even begin with troubleshooting and any help would be greatly appreciated....
