Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
Dear Diah,
Found the schematics related to the MB. It seems that the panel burnt detection signal is coming through PIN 12 of the LVDS connector to the motherboard MICOM pin 16. Tested the voltage level of the pin and when the TV is powered on the pin voltage only rises to 0.4V and then shuts down. To confirm, the path between the LVDS pin 12 and micon pin 16 was removed and tested. Still the relay clicks off.
Therefore we can assume that the reason for the TV clicking off is not the panel...

Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
Dear Diah,
Sorry to bother you after a while.
I was waiting for a new service remote from China. The exit button of the previous one was not working properly Therefore, I was unable to properly exit the power only mode.
Now that the new SVC remocon is available I have plugged in all boards and started the unit in power only mode and exited the power only mode. Unlike before the LG LED is remaining on.
What do you prefer I do next?
Always grateful for your continued support.

Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
Dear Diah,
As you have suggested and the details available on thread "LG 55EA970V OLED / black screen" I have traced the path from MICOM pin 16 to the TCON connector and it was observed that MICOM pin 16 is connected to TCON connector PIN 12 for SOS signal as it was traced back from the MICOM.
Do you think it's the right SOS signal path?
Best Regards

Re: LG 55EA970V OLED / black screen
Where did you manage to find these service manuals and the schematic diagrams? Would you be able to let me know the source for me to obtain the manuals for LG 55EC930T - TA? I've been having a similar issue and after certain diagnosis done with the support from Diah We believe that an SOS signal is generated by TCON is forcing shutoff the PS. Need to locate the PIN which is sending the sos signal.
Thanks in advance....

Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
So you think that there's no issue with the main board?
If I manage to isolate the SOS signal I may be able to get the set into working state?
in order to isolate the SOS signal what do you propose I do.
Your continued help is greatly appreciated....

Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
Sorry to bother you again Diah,
Kept the display running for several hours and the display issue is not present anymore. Also done some on /off cycles of the display pattern and no any observable issue identified. attached a video zip file also.
Still when switching on using the remote relay clicks off in few seconds. and even though tried to wake using the mouse and no luck.
Is it may be the main board faulty
Best Regards,
Dulaj...

Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
Diah,
I think the issue is with the panel. When the set is switched off and switched on again the initial black display came on like this....

It is pure white. The phone camera doesn't capture it properly due to the change of screens in a rapid succession....

Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
Yes I have removed the ribbons from T-CON to display and T-CON to main board. I have checked for any short or defected connections before connecting back and found no observable issue.

Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
Dear Diah,
I have kept it on for about an hour now. The panel seems okay now. No flickering or dead pixels observed now. Shall I keep it like this for some more time or what should I do next?
Regards,
Dulaj...

Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
Dear Diah,
Did exactly as you suggested. found some dead pixels on the white screen (attached picture) and put it to regenerate. How long do you want me to keep it running? what do you suggest I do after that.
Thanks again for your immense support.
Regard
Dulaj...

Re: LG OLED 55EC930T Off after a few seconds
Thanks Diah,
Tried as you suggested. powered up with a USB stick plugged in with mpeg and tried using a USB mouse simultaneously. Still the same.
When powered up with the usual power on button the set clicks off in 3 seconds during which the USB mouse keep lit.
When powered up with power only same white screen above appears and shuts down after few seconds. During the service power only command USB mouse does not light up.
Any other tests you want me to try out?
Many Thanks,
Dulaj

Re: Lg curved oled 55ec930t not starting
Hi all,
I'm a new guy here.
Got a dumped LG 55EC930T due to non-switching on issue.
When the set is powered up with 230V and switched on with the power button, the LG logo lights up with the relay clicking and fades away after 3 seconds with the relay clicking.
As recommended in the other threads, the set was opened up and the SMPS test was conducted. SMPS test passed without any issues. Then the main board was removed, and the T-CON was rigged to get in to the RGB panel test mode where the solid Red, Green,...
