Hard drive from Crashed Laptop Question
I ordered the Multi Drive Cable from New Egg. I connect the Old drive to the cable it lights right up I can see everything on the Drive. I know the Name of the old computer and I know the Password to the Admin...... Problem is It wont let me copy the Admin user files off on to another drive or disk? Anyone know what steps I have to take or a Program I have to use to recover the mailing lists and Invoices I have on this unit? I am at a loss here...... I know the password! It just never asks for it or anything......
GRRRR I am not helpless but this is making me feel as I am!

But.... the Hum and Click Moved... I just went back out and Checked it again It moved and I can change the Frequency of the sound by pushing on it.

I am Sorry I was Unclear. the Noise moved with the Inductor and the Symptom of the PS cutting off unless I Jumper remained the same. but these are Duo Circuits to run the pair of backlight boards are they not?Last edited by IRace93; 12-04-2014, 12:41 AM.

Re: E552VL 0500-0507-0790 Clicking.
803 = 585
807 = 582
808 = 582 set in the 2000 Ohm Range
they test Open in reverse.
Not having much Luck testing the Mosfet with my crappy meter

Re: E552VL 0500-0507-0790 Clicking.
NO! I just walked back out an Verified this. When I turn the set on RL1 Clicks. the Hummm Starts everything Loads and CLICK RL1 Clicks off. I PROMISE YOU the L802 Inductor is where the Hum comes from. That being said. I just Jumped the 5V to the PsOn TICK TICK TICK From L802. Jumpering to PsOn and the A Terminal Lights the Backlight. when the back Light comes the Tick tick tick turns to the High Frequency Hummm that I have noted. That Hum remains when ever the back light is lit and the Main board is not even hooked up. and the sound is coming...

Re: E552VL 0500-0507-0790 Clicking.
With the main board uuhooked and 5v jumpered to ps on it just cycles on and off with the board hooked up the voaltage to the ps on voltage is constant till the board times out. Is that what you mean?
