Re: Getac B300 G6 Bios Help

So I haven't tried that password on the computer whose bios I sent. I haven't soldered the chip back in yet. I did try it on one of the others and no joy. With that said, I just went and tried it on the third one and it worked.
Now the ugly, I cleared the password in the bios on the one that worked. It said that it was cleared but now I'm locked out of that one as well. Wiped that smile right off my face...
Will go ahead and solder the chip back in computer one and see if that password works.

    Advice appreciated

    Getac B300 G6 Bios Help

Hi, I bought three of these on eBay all with locked bios. Have run the serial numbers by Getac and they confirmed they weren't stolen but refused to help unlock the bios. Spent 6 weeks dealing with one of the "Skype" guys this site warns against with no luck.

Hoping someone here can help me out. I read, verified, and saved the bios on the first computer 3 times. Did a comparison and they all match so hopefully I did it right. (Doing one computer at a time)

The bios chip is a Winbond W25Q128. I read it with the EZP2019+ programmer.

    Thanks in...
