  • Re: Samsung QLED Q60R constant reboot issue

I had the same issue and also repaired by replacing with 6514p from Digikey on a Samsung. I have since repaired another tv (nec 55”) by simply removing both of the esd diodes and NOT putting any back in their place. I use heat tape on the cof cable strip and a terry cloth damped with isopropyl under the strip to soak heat and avoid lifting the pressed and glued strip. Then generous amount of flux and chip quick solder to knock them off then follow with iso then more flux and desolder wick to clean up remaining solder. Many TVs don't...

  • Nec E557Q lines and fade to black picture FIXED

Trash picked this tv from a local business, had a garbage image and would fade to black within second then cut off. It would get shorter and shorter every time.

Narrowed it down to the right side of the panel by unplugging half the t con

Soldering iron and some chip quick knocked both of them off and...

I will add that this is my first time doing a component level repair on a package size of 1mm x 2.50mm! With ten leads on it. You most definitely need steady hands tweezers and thermal tape to keep from...

Hello all. First time posting but long time lurker here.

First off I am not expert but I do know my way around electronics and have a fairly good grasp on troubleshooting them.

I acquired this tv for free from a neighbor who had a repair man out and diagnosed it having a shorted lcd panel.

Symptoms were that I would start up and reach the Home Screen and work for thirty or so seconds then the lcd would fade to black and enter a boot loop where it would get shorter with each attempted boot.

Went through the basic trouble shooting...
