I recently dug a non-working LG 42" plasma tv out of the trash. The PDP looks to be ok but there was no picture. I traced the problem to a shorted IPM and blown fuse on the Zsus board which appears to be a very common problem. I purchased a new IPM and fuse and replaced them and am about to test it out, but was reading that the 15v supply on the Z and Y sus boards can drop over time due to cap failure and in time will cause the IPM to overheat and fail. Since the IPM is fairly expensive I would rather not have it fail again in short order so want to make sure I fix things properly. There...
