I replaced the y sustain board with one i bought fully tested for £15.
Bargain repair, once again many thanks.

you were right i dismantled the metal casing at bottom of tv and instantly saw one of the connector locks sitting upright, pushed it back down and hey presto fully working. Many thanks for all your help.Leave a comment:

accidentally caught the on button, tv came on but have a band down center of screen with just random white dots

i know the pin out of the far right top connector is
1:gnd
2:gnd
3:reset
4:5v outl

Is there anyway I can test the y buffer board without connecting it to the y board?
The buffer boards i have are both pcb no:LJ41-08594A.
Have got the new y board but dont want to risk blowing it without testing the buffers.

I will desolder the components tomorrow and test them again, but I have been offered another tested board for £15 so will buy that and see what happens.

have just checked Va and Vs again on power board while Y board is out of tv and voltages are holding now.

Have tried a different y sustain board and still does the same thing.
Also have tried a different z-sustain, control and main boards still the same result.
