Re: Vizio M470SV menus are extremely slow to respond
My issue is now fixed! I decided to reset the TV back to factory settings, which also cleared out the memory. I followed the instructions in the manual and let the TV do it's thing and shut itself down. I waited about an hour and turned it back on and the menus displayed quickly and I could moved around just like it was new.
I do see a one pixel green vertical line from top to bottom though. Argh!

Vizio M470SV menus are extremely slow to respond
I picked up a Vizio M470SV at a garage sale. I was told it would shut down due to bad caps. I thought I'd get it anyway and try and fix it.
At first, the TV would start up, display "Comp RGB" and then would shut down. Once I was able to get the TV onto another input source, it would stay on. From the start, the remote hardly worked. Menu items would change 15-20 seconds after I pressed a button. I have since read the it's possibly the IR sensor. No big deal. But, even the buttons on the back of the TV have the same slowness when changing menus. So, it may NOT be the IR...

Re: Vizio M470SV - shuts off
Was this issue ever sorted out? I bought one of these TVs at a garage sale with the idea of fixing it.
