I got it all back together, could not figure out where 2 black screws went. Oh well, at least it's back in business.

Yup, that seems to be the issue. New led strip is in and the tv turned on. Now to figure out where all of these screws go. Guess I should have kept better track of where they came from.Leave a comment:

I managed to get the tv apart. I bought a led tester and found 1 bulb that does not turn on. I'm guessing that's the issue causing the 4 red flashes.Leave a comment:

Yes, on the replacement board, that cap has continuity to ground on both sides.
The board was described as fully functional from a broken screen unit.Leave a comment:

I found a set of all boards from a supposed cracked tv.

It's going through a color pattern, checkerboard pattern. No signs of it turning off. It's playing ambient music as well.Leave a comment:

The circled fuses are not blown.

the part by the F4000 wording does not beep when I put the probes on both sides of it.

2R2 is 4 ohm on one side, OL on the other.
the little cap is 4 ohm on one side and 0.4 ohm on the other.

The part 2R2 and the cap to the right of it beep to ground on both sides on my multimeter.

Where would I check for the led driver voltage? I only see a flat ribbon connecting it to the main board.

I unhooked the boards and do not see any failed capacitors or burn marks anywhere. Plugging the boards back in did not change anything, still 4 red flashes.
CN6401 voltage all seem to match the legend when the tv is powering on.
bl_err is at 0.028v when the tv is powering on, but then goes to 0.003v when the red light flashing 4 times....Last edited by my2k2zx2; 01-18-2023, 11:35 AM.Leave a comment:

I'm having the same issue with our XBR-55X900F. Powers on, starts the android animation, goes black with 4 red led flashes. Is replacing the led strips the only way to fix this one? I have no idea how to get the panel of if that is the case.Leave a comment:
