Hi,
This may be a bit late. The resistor R13 is an smd resistor with marking 473, so a 47 kilo-ohm resistor.

Sync stripper, unknown IC
Hello all,
Can anyone help me identify the chip marked with a red circle in the attached picture. I'm pretty sure it is Analog Devices component but which one. The component is part of an sync-on-green signal separator.
Thanks in advance....

Re: Samsung 55KS8005TXXE power cycling
Oh almost forgot. Noticed that after TV has been in standby for a while, the voltages drop. For example, the Vamp and stby voltages drop down to 8.99 volts. That shouldn't be happening?

Thanks lotas, will try.
@Devil rider, yes. Except that the resistors basecolor is different, those are green, on mine pinkish or more maybe like pig skin. And thermistors, green on yours and black on mine.

Oh, that's interesting! How do I know which pins to jump?...

Found this on another forum:
Because my two mainboards make the TV behave "identically", is it the PSU to blame afterall......

Re: Samsung 55KS8005TXXE power cycling
Yes, that is what happens as you described.
Aliexpress was the only place to find a matching board$46 for the board, not that much of a loss. But now for a special price, only for you, a Samsung 55KS8005 carcass for $46. Only pickup, will not send

Ok thanks, I'll have a look.
So strange that both mainboards act the same... The mainboards do look intimidating for sure...

Re: Samsung 55KS8005TXXE power cycling
Yeah the cable is tested with continuity and seems ok.
Oh crap, but how can they both be broken the same way? Any clues where to start "debugging" the mainboard?...

Re: Samsung 55KS8005TXXE power cycling
Yes, by sticker number on chassis and labels on mainboard. Seller wanted pics of the original board to use for comparing. Seller had compared some resistors and capacitors different places on the board.
As written in first post, disconnected everything except IR-cable. Also tried disconnecting only one of them in order.
Did this a couple of posts above. No difference. Backlights stay on ONLY when mainboard is unpluggedRe: Samsung 55KS8005TXXE power cycling

Re: Samsung 55KS8005TXXE power cycling
Ok, heated with hairdryer but the capacitors don't feel that hot, can easily hold finger on them without burning. Same effect. Heated for about 3-4 minutes.
The seller (Aliexpress) said the boards are tested. Getting a new one takes about 4 weeks to arrive.
It has only power button. Disconnected but cannot power it up so TV stays in standby now...

Argh, forgot to write that in the first post. Tried with only one cable at the time, no difference. Tried with both off, no difference...

Samsung 55KS8005TXXE power cycling
Hello!
My second TV to fix, first one was a successSo the problem with this one is the power cycling. At first I did the led test, plug out MB (mainboard) and plug the powercable. Backlights turn on and TV stays on.
At the moment MB is plugged in, standbylight turns on, TV turns off for a couple of seconds and then tries to start. Backlight flashes bright, dims out and TV turns off while PSU is having a faint ticking or clicking noise. TV stays off for a couple of seconds and tries to start again. This power cycle happens for as long powercable is plugged....
