I have a somewhat working Intel PR440FX motherboard out of an old PC I retrieved from my attic. When testing on my dim bulb tester it illuminated the bulbs at about 2/3 brightness (2 - 60 watt bulbs). I abandoned cautioned to the wind and switched out the dim bulbs and the motherboard powered up. It had an ATI all-in-Wonter Rage 128 PCI graphics card and a Soundblaster 64 Live Gold sound card both worked. I found the hard drive that I had intended to destroy years ago because it had a lot of personal data on it in my shed. I connected the hard drive and it booted and ran Windows 95(b). I played...

Hello Everyone, I am a recently retired programmer, bit of an introvert, and bad at spelling so please forgive me. I vave been dabbling in electronics since the late Sixties, but a bit rusty as of late but getting back into it now that I have retired. Just finished a Rebuild of a Marantz 2240 Receiver/Amp that I purchased on Ebay to match one that I had in the Seventies. Performs great. Currently working a few very old PCs from the Attic.
