You were correct one memory slot is bad. Not sure replacing CPU is within my abilities. Works ok using one slot. Should I try to replace CPU or just leave like is....Leave a comment:

Memory keeps going out
I have a Compaq CQ60-215DX Running Windows Vista. Also has AMD Athlon-x2 64bit and Nvidia Graphics card. Having problem with memory going out. I replaced it about a month ago and now has gone out again. Has anybody heard of this problem before. Also computer has a bad battery can this be the cause.
