Re: LG 34UM68 backlight and 'chime' on start up, but no OSD or video
Still needing some assistance on this, and more than happy to pay for any help in getting it working again.
Has anybody else ever come across this display using a EAX66876002 board instead of a EAX66876001?

LG 34UM68 backlight and 'chime' on start up, but no OSD or video
I have an LG 34UM68 with board EAX66876002 but it has issues with not working correctly.
It powers on, backlight comes on, but there is no OSD shown, and no video shown on the screen.
I checked over the board for any obvious visual damage, and everything looked OK.
I then took a dump of the main SPI Flash chip.
I tried to take a dump from the EEPROM, but it would sometimes read data correctly, and other times would had obvious reading problems.
I managed to get a dump from it which somewhat resembled correct data - part...

Re: I need bios eeprom LG 34UM68 EAX66876002
Would you happen to have a copy from a working board at all?
I have one of these boards, and had to replace the AT24C256 chip completely, but could not read any data from the existing chip, so did not have any way of getting a working copy.
A paired dump of the SPI Flash chip would be a huge help also, in case of any differences in versions.
Will be interesting to see if it really is just a bad EEPROM that is causing the issues with this monitor, or if it is something else entirely...
