Re: 820-2915-B missing pp5v_sus & pp3v3_sus
So today i resolved this issue, when searching web for this problem many people mention to only test with genuine apple 85w power supply, and since i had exactly this i didn't wonder this is the fault, bet then remembered that i changed the wire from Ali express. Since i didn't have another, i used a cinema display with broken screen as the charger and this fixed this issue, so remember that if the wire has been changed it may not register as 85w charger

Re: A1990 820-01814 5v 0.2-0.3a
So today I removed the F7000 and F7001, at PPVBAT_G3H_CHGR_REG side I have 0.8kOhm and at PPBUS_G3H side I have 4.7ohm.
If I understand correctly at this point I should inject voltage into it and see what becomes hot?

Re: A1990 820-01814 5v 0.2-0.3a
PPBUS_G3H @ F7000 or F7001 Is 0v at bouth sides. Tested if the the fuse is good, and it is but i think i have a dead on short here because at resistance mode i have 5 ohm’s and at diode mode .04v

A1990 820-01814 5v 0.2-0.3a
Hello, got this a1990 for repair.
Initialy thought some cd3215 is dead but no, i dont have cycleing on any ports and on all of the the readings are the same. I have all LDO voltages exept BMC. PPDCIN_G3H is ok. HvGate1 is 7.6v and gate2 is 11v. PP20V_USBC_XB_VBUS Is 5v. PP3V3_G3H is 0v , CHGR_VDDA is 5v , TP_CHGR_EN_VR1 is 5v.
I'm ir right that maybe U7000 is dead? kinda lost and dont know where to look next, maybe some one has an advice?

Re: 820-2915-B missing pp5v_sus & pp3v3_sus
Also regarding pp3v3_sus it tase the same thing as 5vsus, I have vcc and en signal but don't have sus voltage

820-2915-B missing pp5v_sus & pp3v3_sus
Hello, I have a weird one today, I have a 820-2915-B board that had some issues, first of all I had pp3v3_s5 1,6v, changing the TPS51980 repaired that and now I have 3.3v, but the board didn't power on at this point, looking more I found that I don't have SUS voltages, first I tried to get 5v sus, PP5V_S5_P5VSUSFET_R- 5,05v and P5VSUS_EN_L - 0v , replacing U7940 fixed that, nov I have P5VSUS_EN_L - 4,94v, since I have vcc for this chip and the enable signal I thought that Q7840 was the problem, I changed it with a known good one, still I don't have pp5v_sus. And now starts the strange part, when...

Re: 820-00165 no power, Missing PP3V3_S5
So while checking R7516 and R7546 voltages witch was btw 0v, I also checked the values of these resistors, and when checking the value of R wasnt getting any, and when poking around the wire trace was not soldered enaght to the resistor so the U7501 wasnt getting an EN signal, I soldered this trace correctly, and BOOM !!! Finaly fans spin!
Thanks Dellxps15 for guiding me to the real problem, i think i would be given up at that point

Re: 820-00165 no power, Missing PP3V3_S5
L7560 measures 1ohm, on donor board it the same, is that a good reading?
L7560 pin 1 to ground measures 0.480 kohm, the same on pin 2

820-00165 no power, Missing PP3V3_S5
Hello,
Having trouble identifying the problem for this motherboard,
some one has already been here and messing with U7501, but looks to be repaired, but this time had some corrosion by U3210, removed it and cleaned up the pads, and replaced with new one, still no power. By U7501 saw that C7588 was missing, put it on but still nothing, while doing investigation found that i have PPBUS_G3H - 8.6v; PPDCIN_G3H - 16.5; PP3V42_G3H - 3.44; PP5V_S5 - 5v; but i dont have PP3V3_S5 - 0v there fore don't have any S4; S3; S0 voltages; By U7501 i have P3V3S5_EN_R- 3.3v; SMC_PM_G2_EN - 3.3v; PP3V3_S5_REG_R-...
