I have a Hanns G HG281D that is doing roughly the same as yours. It comes on and then it's like the back light goes off and you have to turn it back on again. If you turn it on, the image might say or it might go black again. You seem to have alot more knowledge than me on this...I live in Ohio, would you be interested in looking at this monitor for me? I would be willing to compensate you for your time and would pay for parts. I was able to save my parents Toshiba projection tv due to alot of studying on the internet,...
