once after my light stops blinking Iam able to turn it on
its almost like its doing a diagnostic scan before it starts up.
have you tried turning it on by the tv itself maybe your remote is not connected to the tv mind you that remote connects by bluetooth...

me 2 bud i didnt find this out till you asked me to take some pictures and when I did I took notice to that ribbon with an X on it and I was like what the how that get on there. I didn't remember seeing that. so I took it off and looked at it and checked the ribbon for defects and saw nothing and then when I went back to look at the picture I then seen that it was partially out of socket lmao....Leave a comment:

Thank you good sir lmao hahahhahahhahah hell ya boy i got it working on an accident im so excited omg and i payed $40 for this bubba it was the ribbon.
someone apparently had done some work to it and snagged the ribbon.
Now all I need is the original remote to go with it man this thing looks great!

I have the same model of tv
and having a different issue anyone could please help me
tv turns on back lights come on and dim down as normal but no video
I can't tell if it has sound or not as for I can't see the screen to select the video source.
I have the back cover off and have search through all of the boards and can not find anything wrong no burn marks no bulging caps, Everything looks as new.
no smells from anywhere.

go to autozone and you can pick up a strip of white leds that takes 12v or go to your local dollar store and pick up a few led flashlights, im sure someone can be creative about this with these kind of lights as for I have done it on my laptop and it worked just fine lmao...

I have the same tv but my problem is a lil bit different.
For one I don't have the remote that goes to it
2 when I first plug it in I see the amber stand by light flashes then steady
then I press the power button tv turns on led's the amber light goes white
then the leds dim down some and then I try some functions through the multi power button switch and then tv goes back to off no amber then if I wait I can turn it back on and the same thing happens again.

Here's a picture of the tv I drew the light blue line to show where the tv starts the black blob when first turning the tv on after on for awhile it seems to clear up some and after using the white wash program it brightens it up better but the color of the tv looks crappy, Any ideas?...Last edited by Jaymzway; 10-27-2011, 07:32 PM. -
