Re: Knocked off cap, XFX R9 270X
I have a small pencil tip that I used and got it put back on though its not the prettiest. It survived some initial furmark testing and it connected with the other via crossfire (it is also the primary with the non damaged one as secondary) though i need to do some more thorough testing. Thanks for the tips.

Re: Knocked off cap, XFX R9 270X
I didn't think it could be left off and I didn't even want to test it in the system before finding something out, but I've never soldered anything this small and if there was a chance I wouldnt have to I would take it. Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Reviving an old gaming PC from 2012 with XFX R9 270 graphics cards in crossfire. Had a bit of an oops while cleaning (knocked a cap off) and having watched Louis Rossmann in the past I thought I may try and fix it. After a quick google search, I found this site and got excited. I expect to find this part of the forum most helpful for that. https://www.badcaps.net/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=14Re: New Members - please post your i...9 270 graphics
