The new chip arrived yesterday. I just flashed it using the file you provided and soldered it in. Unfortunately, the HP still shows no signs of life other than a small orange LED on the underside of the motherboard. That LED was lit before, though. Any idea what could be wrong? Apart from the defective chip. I just replaced that.... -
That was kind of obvious! It seems the chip is broken. It's readable, but unfortunately, I can't write properly. So, I'll have to order a new one first. I'll report back here as soon as it arrives and I've flashed it with the file and installed it....Leave a comment:
