    @davi.p - I'm as beginner as beginner gets on TV repairs. I appreciate you answering my question about the crack unlike the previous posts. Thank you for confirming that for me!

    Now in regards to the fix. Are you able to point me in a direction or a link for a tutorial or example about this tape method you speak of? I can't find anything related online or YouTube and I'm sure you don't want to walk me through every step

    Any direction is appreciated. Depending on the complexity of the project I might just donate or trash...

    I plan on doing this very soon. But was hoping I could make this TV at least useable as a secondary TV for the house or maybe our guest room.

    I will be buying a new TV, but do you know if cracks on the edge of the screen cause jumping and if so, is it fixable?...

  • LG 49LB5550-UY Fixable??

    Hello all, brand new to this forum and all this tech repair. I've always been interested in tech and learning more than than average person and well, I guess this is my chance!

    - Forgive me as I will likely not be using the proper terms throughout this post, again, I am a newbie to all this!

    I noticed a few "LED Bulbs" falling out of place behind my TVs screen a few weeks ago. After some research I find how to quickly glue them back into place. I finished the work and when putting my TV back together I accidentally cracked the very corner of the display ��....
