I have an RX 6600 from MSI, and it has no power. I have found no shorts, and almost all voltages are missing:[LIST][*]I have 5V on the back of the card (U310), but it seems to be used for video output (5V_VESA).[*]All fuses seem okay.[*]The thermal camera shows no hot spots.[*]I have flashed the latest BIOS (using CH341A). It makes 1.8v and 0.75v come back[/LIST]
I am used to repairing shorted cards and replacing blown components, but here I am stuck.
For schematics and board view, I use the Rev 2.0 PDF schematic, as nothing is available for Rev 1.0. However,...

RX 5700 missing vddci
Hi,
I am trying to fix a rx5700, please find attached some measurements.
The VDDCI coil has 0V (I presume is the VDDCI, I haven't a boardview or schematic.
Both mosfet (green data on lmy picture) have the same exact voltage.
If you can help me to find the issue, i am pretty new to this kind of stuf.

C431 cap =>seems ok
If I am not wrong "3vsb enable" is from 5VDUAL (throw R549) and it is missing too.
The mobo is not turning on at all right? nothing happen
It only turns on if you force jump the ps_on in the ATX connector but not when turning on via mobo Switch? => Never tried this.
Can the PCH be dead? If yes how to be sure?... -

Hi, thanks for your time. I have uploaded boardview and schematic if it can help. I havent find any short, attached a picture of the PCH with some measure on the first post.
Actually I think that is the SYS3VSB_OFF which are put 5vdual to ground, but I am not sur to understand where it the source of SYS3VSB_OFF.
Is there some where a picture or document which indicates the step of a boot for intel motherboard?

Hi, I am new to this hobby too, personnally I will inject voltage on this 3vsb, starting low 1 volt up to 3 max until I found the hot one, spray some alcool isopropilic to show were it desapear.

Hi, I am trying to fix an msi motherboard B250i gaming (MS-7A67), I am a newbie but I want to learn. I have tested things and I think it is the 3VSB which is missing.
The MB doesn't boot on power button press, there is 3v on the PSIN#_R and go to Ov when pressed.
I have tested:
no shorts on ATX pin ( continuity test between GND and atx pins)
SuperIO PWRBTIN got to 3v to 0v when pressed
RSMRST is always 0v, when I follow this I saw that RSMRST from SIO is connected to R328. R328 is RSMRST <> 3VSB (0v)
