  • Re: LENOVO BIOS AUTO-PATCHER for Supervisor Password Removal

    SOLVED.
The problem was that I didn't put memory in my laptop.
After that I rebooted, followed the procedure (altought I didn't have a chance to do steps

STEP 5: Press enter when it shows Hardware ID
STEP 6: Press space bar 2x when asked
As the system did it for myself???
I just pushed Enter & F1, rebooted a few times.

The question is what programmer should I buy:
    - TL866II Plus (~80 USD here)
    - or CH341A (needs to be welded to mod 3.3V, problems with read/write using clips) ~10 USD here.

The budget is not the problem, but the guy from the shop told me that TL866II Plus using clips (I'm not a technical guy to unsolder/solder...

  • Re: New Members - please post your introductions here

    Now, a Python programmer.

I want to restore my Thinkpad T460 (forgot password),
I want to flash its BIOS with programmator (the only way to do it properly?)

before that I want to learn how to flash on a very old desktop...
