Hello everyone.
I used to be heavily into electronics repair in a DIY capacity. I got into the repair because I was tired of throwing things away when usually a small repair (I assumed) was all that was needed. I'm mostly self-taught with a little leaning on the knowledge of a couple of people I know that were professional techs.
My background is in industrial/automation controls with a side of mechanical and manufacturing engineering.
I'm recently getting back into repair and this forum looks like a great place...

Came here with the same issue and Q9101 has a chip blown out of it so I cannot see the identification numbers. Any chance someone has the data for this IC. All I can get off of it is what looks like "SK742A 439L" The top row of the number is in the missing fragment and I have had no joy in locating anything with these numbers alone....
