So, with the results of my last voltage reading, is it safe to assume I at least have an issue with the power board in that it is not allowing voltage to the backlights? I believe what your testing has been is to diagnose the board at a specific component level? I found a new board for a good price so I am not opposed to just replacing the board itself....

I'm seeing 0 volts between those terminals. So, I assume that to mean there is at least an issue with the power board but there could still be an issue with the back light as well....Leave a comment:

When I took the back panel off, all cables seemed to be secure to my eye. Attached are pics of the power board front and back. If it is the back light or lights, do they typically all go out at once or a few at a time?...Leave a comment:

Samsung UN55J6200AFXZA Sound but no Picture
As title states, sound but no picture. I have done all of the rudimentary troubleshooting steps- flashlight test no lights visable. Checked Source and it is correct. Tried different, verified good HDMI cable, swapped satellite receiver boxes etc and no luck. I see lots of kits with replacement boards, but before I start throwing parts at it I'd like to know if anyone has suggestions. The brown power board has a couple of spots that are suspect. They are a darker brown circular color. Not sure if that is just from normal use or if something may be burnt. Not sure if a suspect power board is capable... -
