Looks like Panasonic are using Vestel again for their cheaper models in Europe. The D302B range, 24-43” I thought they had come to their senses and stopped slapping their name on inferior Televisions?

At least now they seem to be supplying them with a genuine Panasonic remote and not the oversize plastic-fantastic Vestel remotes.

I owned this TV for just over a year until it was replaced by the retailer under extended warranty, my Girlfriends parents also own one of these, buying theirs a whole year before I purchased mine.

I've experienced all the problems you describe, as have my future in-laws. Its no fault, its just the way they are - very temperamental. I've seen this on two separate TV's running different Firmware versions.

Also a couple of issues you might be unaware of, the backlight noticeably flickers or blinks roughly once per second if set...

At my place of work they bought a bunch of these in late 2009/early 2010 for displaying promo stuff. All eight failed within 2.5 years displaying faults similar to the one pictured above.

Mind you the commercial Samsung displays they replaced them with have been no better lol.
