Samsung FP-T5084X/XAA
What board would cause the pip to get stuck and can't turn off on this 50'' plasma tv.One of the boards is bad because when you push pip on remote it says not avaible.Also all the inputs are not high lighted on the menu.I have replaced the main board for another reason about 2 months ago,now just started stuck pip with static in the block,main screen has good picture with DVD playing.Last edited by chevy56; 04-08-2014, 10:52 PM. -

This plasma tv shows a picture that flashes and it is blank 2 inches on each side of the picture.The VS and VA are exactly what they're supposed to be,va=60 vs=184.Any help would be greatly appreciated. -
Samsung HPT5054 black screen
I have replaced the power supply and still have black screen.There is a green LED on Y-sus board that stays lit when tv is powered on,is this LED supposed to be on or off? -

Top part of screen has big black bar and from middle on down the information like from the OSD is rolling continously toward the bottom.I've never seen this so it will be worth the $20 I gave for it to learn what causes this.I'm thinking it's probably the main board or T-con or could it be the panel since it affects the OSD? -

I fixed mine by finding one leg of D70 with no solder,resoldered it works fine.I needed the repair kit also one resistor was open so I put everything in the kit in.After all that it needed resoldered to work...Leave a comment:

The screen only flashes for half sec and shuts down.Checked alot of diodes on power supply and checked good and no bulged caps.If I just knew what board to order. -

I just read a post earlier from another site on Vizio would stay amber with stand by light and not turn white.I tried this and it worked on your main board locate the smd IC chip U26 and remove it and solder a 10K resistor on the last 2 bottom pads where the chip was,they will be across from each other,now my light goes from amber to white but still no light on screen,think it's Y sus.Bought a new board last week and logo wouldn't turn white so I must have bought a bad board because this fixed my old one.Hope this helps like it did for me. -
Phillips 42 PF7320A/37 has horizontal lines and red pixels
I put in a new power supply and fixed the no power issue,but now I have horizontal lines and red smears even with the menu on.I thought it was probably a bad panel until I saw a green LED blinking on the SSB board.They are 2 green LED's side by side LED 2011 is blinking and LED 2010 stays lit solid.Does anyone know if it would be a bad panel or SSB board? -

Hopefully alot of people will not make the same mistake I have.I replaced the T-con board with no fix and the only thing left was the main board which I replaced today with same result.If you look at my pic I posted this is a bad panel.Give $20 for TV,invested$230,expensive lessonLeave a comment:

case sizes
Is there a case code when ordering a capacitor that lays flat on the board like this one?A regular one won't fit it would be too tall.I can't get them to send the right kind its always a regular standard one they send.I wish it was this easy to send them a pic.Please help... -
Panel or Main Board?
I have replaced the T-con board on a Samsung UN55C6500VFXZA and still have the same problem.I would hate to spend more money on a main board if it was the panel.I have seen where some panels cost about $200 how much do you think a panel would cost for this.I'll try to upload a pic.In case it don't the pic is all splotchy and can't make out whats on screen OSD same way... -

I just got through fixing a 50'' plasma and it seems to be alot like the 42.If its the same set up you can unplug A5 from the A board and then when you plug it in the wall you should get a white screen without even pressing the power button,mine did not so the A board was bad couldn't find one anywhere,I sent it to be repaired by moduslinktv,may have to put in search for right address,but that fixed my problem think they charged about $130...Leave a comment:
