The blue light blinks but the monitor does not come on and will only shut down when you unplug it. I need help -
samsung syncmaster 715v
Lets see if I can start again. I don't wish to annoy anyone. This monitor has no display, the screen is black and the power indicator light is green and I can turn it on and off. I have replaced all the caps with no luck. I have used a real bright light and don't see any indication that there is video.

My spelling is getting worse. I am now able to turn the green light on and off.

board number is MJ19BS. also after replacing the 5 caps ,not the big one. I was no able to turn the green light on and off with the switch. However the screen still is black. I substituted the bulbs with a known good set that I have and they didn't come on..

screen is black when I use a strong light there is no image of any kind. The power light is always on you can't turn it off it stays green until you unplug the unit.All caps appear good. This is new to me. Where do I start?

I have been trying to find who manufactures these monitors. The tech tell me they don't know, but bring it in and they will look at it.
My problem is : the screen is black,power light on.
caps have been replaced.
If I can get a schematic I can do a better test.
Any help would be appreciated.
