Just want to share with U that I just recapped my VP6 Today after I read your articels...
I had a BIG Success with that! Now my board works tiptop again. The symptoms I had was just as U describe in the article...
I bought my caps from [url]http://www.elfa.se[/url]

The caps are all Sanyo caps and I replaced all the 23's as mentioned.
The 1500 uF are almost too big for the board...but it did go well anyway after a little fixing with positions...
