Dell LCD Monitor with build in speakers
Hello
I just got a Dell LCD Monitor with build in speakers. The funny thing is that it also requires another DC power supply for the speakers! IMO couldn't the speakers be powered by the ps of the monitor?
Thanks!

Re: KiCAD HELP
Ratdude
Thanks for the reply!
I was able to work through the tutorial and make a simple circuit. So....I've got that part kinda figured out. I'm having trouble with getting a part added to a library so I can add it to the circuit.
Is there a way to import a DXF into KiCAD?
I also know SolidWorks, AutoCAD,..... FYI
Have you used Teamviewer?
Thanks!

KiCAD HELP
Hello
Anyone out there know KiCAD well that would be willing to use a computer/screen sharing program and help me out with a few problems I'm having with the program? I like Teamviewer6. I have a high speed internet connection.
I'm having trouble with creating new modules and getting them into the program. I'm pretty sure it's a just a couple of things that I'm not understanding and doing wrong.
Please reply to this thread or PM me.
Thanks!

Input requested about replacement LCD monitor lights.
I'm looking for input from guys who have used the replacement bulbs that are on the net that cost around $6.00 each. What is your experience with them? How long did they last?
Thank you!

Re: Asus Notebook wont switch on Somedays
When you do get it to power on....what have you done? Did you move the computer? Did you unplug the power supply? Close and open the lid?
I'm looking for more information.

Re: Hp pavilion dv 6 power on and off frequently
It sounds like your GPU has come unsoldered from the MB. These computers run hot and after a while the cooling system gets plugged with junk and they overheat to the point were the solder melts! Do a search on the net about GPU reflow.... You'll find mixed opinions.

HP DV9000 motherboard issues. Part number differences.
Hello
Well now I'm working on a HP DV9000 notebook. As many of you know that this, and many others, have issues with GPU over heating and the BGA chip becoming unsoldered from the motherboard.
I've reflowed this board twice.....the second time didn't last very long....so I was going to reball the chip......I didn't do a very good job removing the chip and basically destroyed the board and chip removing it....so.....I'm looking for a replacement MB.
I found a few on Ebay..... My PN is 444002-001. I found a board with the PN 441534-001. [U]Anyone know...

Solution found! Bad bulb!
Well.....I don't know if the first bulb I left out and put in the known good one was bad. However, the monitor stays on! I'll try putting that bulb back in and see what happens. Funny too! It was on the first test I found the bad one!
YEP! It looks like I've found my bad 'egg' bulb! The monitor fails with all of the orginal bulbs but stays on with the known good bulb. Looks like it's time for a bulb replacement!
