PP3v3_S5 Have 3.3v
I have been looking around how to connect the bios chip. The chip is very small and they use a connector to the board and with the connector they read/programm the bios chip.
I dont have this connector, can it be soldered of the board and read it or do I need to solder kables to the board?
But i dont think my programmers support this efi/bios chip from the A1534 board.. I got the CH341A with 1,8v modd and an EZP2023+. The EZP2023+ suport 24/25/26/93/95 series chips and i dont know which type chip the EFI/Bios chip is from the A1534 board....

Yes, I got progrmming tools. And board was booting untill Apple logo ant then went off.

No, not fluktuating but only 0,2mv
Is that mean that i have a problem in u7400? I Have an sparearts board due i bought 2 same A1534 with about same issue. But i dont know if the u7400 chip is good from the another board.. Yes, microskope i just got one crapy electronic which connects to latop. But i dont use it now.. :/

I have same board and similar problem. Just that the rails has power just on PP5V_S4 the voltage is fluktuating.
PPBUS_G3H Has 8,58v
PP3V3_G3H Has 3,29v
PPVRTC_G3H Has 3,,28v
PP5V_G3H_LDO Has 4,98v
P5VS4_PHASE 200 kohm 0v
PP5V_S0 20 mohm 0,1v
SMC_RESET_L Is not present
PP1V1_S0SW_SSD 1,113v
TP(1)PPIN_G3H_P3V3G3H 14,75v
From where does PP5V_S4 Get voltage from
What could make PP5V_S4 Fluktuating?

Hello. After a long time without tools! I finely got an hot-air-station and could sold the chip what i get an long time ago. So the laptop is working now. Without the small capasitor 😅. Just needs an hard drive Thanks help from Mon2.. Thanks...

I was try to jumpwire it before i got your message. i have no patientce. i did it with solderingiron and now it starts. of course i took of the jumpwire or it newer fastened good. so i had to put much heat on board.. i will try to assamble it and see if screen starts and so.. ??? i dont get it. must have been old waterdamage what mad it corossion the Q6010 and what now got soldered again..Last edited by Der Schwede; 09-02-2023, 05:25 PM.Leave a comment:

I saw an video on youtube where he jumped the source and drain from a mosfet becouse the voltage stopped there (exactly like in my case), obviusly to check where the voltage truly ends, i mean wich of them komponet is failed..
But he wouldnt tell the whole story untill i would pay and join his patreon community.
But i think i understand why the jumper was soldered. To measure with the multimeter where the short/broken komponent is. But i just wanted to ask is this safe to do or will something burn?Leave a comment:

Yes, you where right. I measured on wrong side but i measured where you told now and no 6 v. And its 141k ohms on that resistor. I send picture with where i m measuring. Thank you for your efforts to trying to help me. I really appreciate it. Im trying to learn me fault finding my own way but it just didnt go. So i stopped several times, but i always begin again to try learn it.
One question. Which prope on what point. becouse it is different reading depending on what probe i got on the points. And on wich scale on multimeter. it changes when i take another value on multimeter.
And no 6v on REGN pin.
I changed multimeter to an automatic and got this walues!

source 1-2-3 & drain 5-7-8 all about 7k ohms or first two was 7k ohms rest was6.99k ohms
sorce 1-2-3 & gate was all 1.51k ohms
gate & drain 5-6-7-8 was first 8.88 k ohms rest 8.87k ohms
I nocked off one 4.3k resistor wich i post picture of. I guess its the R6013 on that rail of ACDRV. It was wery heavy to get it of with this "big" soldering iron. . Hope i kan put it back.

On gate on qQ6010 ACDRV line i got 19.19v.
I buy little from everywhere, Aliexpress, ebay, dont remember if i bought some electronic devices on Amazon. And sometimes i buy from electronic shop in sweden if it needs to get bought fast. Otherways i buy from second hand from internetpaige blocket.se or tradera (swedens ebay) in sweden or ebay.
It looks nice and pretty decent, the Best 863. But little to expansive for my in my case.

I found thank your help an mosfet q6010 wich has 20v in but nothing out from it. its dead end there. so i will buy an ALPHA_AON7403L_DFN_8P and an hot air station (had 2 before but sold both) annd change it.

And its no voltage from charging ic.

I got the charging problem also. Im getting kind of freaking out of searching after the fault. Ilooked some videos and tried myself but im getting out of clues.
The laptop is modell is same, an Hp elitebook 840. motherboard number 6050A2637901-MB-A02
It goes on battery but wont charge, it dont goes on power from adapter.
My faultsearching knowledge is not so developed. I have basic tools like soldering iron, dc power supply 60v 5a, multimeters. But i dont got an hotairstation, but will buy....Leave a comment:
