MacBook Pro A2289 (FDMF5808A) (U7220)
Today, I started working on a MacBook Pro A2289 it showed only 5 volts with .345 amps while plugged in. I was able to find a hot spot via thermal camera on the FDMF5808A (U7220) which I believe is some type of CPU monitor chip. Once chip was removed the laptop booted without issue, I do not have a backup chip currently available I had to order one. My question is will utilizing laptop without said chip cause any type of damage?

I have tried (2) Different LCD screens this is not the problem also I am seeing 5v routing through LCD JP600 connection. Looking at the A2338 Schematic only thing I am really finding in reference to camera is UP102, which shows on schematic but is not on my board, kinda stuck here any options...
