Polaroid FLM-2601 No Power also..
I seen a couple threads regarding this set (Polaroid FLM-2601) but didn't seem to help with my problem. Originally the set had no signs of power at all, I took it apart and noticed the Powersupply fuse was blown, I replaced it and as soon as I applied power there was a "flash" and the white smoke was released from the R911 I believe. I assume something is shorted casing it to 1st have a blown fuse and then 2nd to burn the R911. Where should I begin troubleshooting? I know I will need to replace the R911 but I would assume there is something shorted causing it to burn up, just don't know...

Re: Sanyo DP46849 No Image
Turned it on this morning, still acting "normal" What voltages should I test just for references?
The sequel is decent (thats on netflix) I liked the 1st one better, personally.

Re: Sanyo DP46849 No Image
Actually, I just went back to my work bench to take the pics, I guess I left the power button pushed... The TV is working, no joke. I just hooked a PS3 to it and its playing a bluray for about 5 mins now. Maybe I just had a lose wire. I will let it play for a while before I confirm its "fixed"

Re: Sanyo DP46849 No Image
I'm getting no voltage on the PS_ON
I edited it, I didn't even think about the size restriction, I took the pics in my 1st post with the same camera, some how the resolution changed. Sorry, I edited the original...

Re: Sanyo DP46849 No Image
Thanks for the reply. There is a PS_ON/OFF, its the bottom pin on the connector. Here are pics with and without flash.
Its giving me an error with the manage attachments, I put them on photobucket for now....Last edited by Hearse; 03-02-2012, 08:25 PM.

Sanyo DP46849 No Image
I have a Sanyo DP46849 that I recently got from a buddy that replaced it when it stopped working. When I FIRST plugged it in, the image came up and displayed for a minute and then now, when you turn it on, the GREEN LED turns on but thats it. Nothing else. The problem seems similar to this post, but there was no fix... Visually the Caps appear ok. I have a DMM what/where should I test?
The pictures are the highest RES I can do with my camera. If you need closer pics of certain areas I can try that.
