  • Re: LG 50UH5530 LED TV suddenly won't power up

Not sure what brought it back on line, checked PS capacitors and transistors, rechecked backlights. All tested good. put it all back together and the darn thing started working. Not sure what it was maybe bad solder joint, or just the josling caused it to come back online. We'll see how long it lasts. Bein on all day, turned on and off with remote just fine.

  • Re: LG 50UH5530 Turns Off And Wont Turn On: diagnoses included

    Jason
I am having some issues with my power board also. The information you posted and so diligently troubleshot definitely was beneficial to me. I haven't quite figured it out, but after the last test with the TV is miraculously started working when power on through the remote. So I am going to leave it alone now. I went through with my magnifying glass on solder joints, removed CAPs for value, tested the transistors, checked backlights. All seemed to be working and put it all back together and the TV came up,...

    Guys,
I have same problem as KR00, I tested all LED strips, they seemed to test all good with LED tester. After putting the TV back together, it came up once and I hit the power off button, which went to the red standby light, after attempting to power back up to verify, it went back into fault and blinking two red lights. I went down the same rabbit hole thinking the STB should be 3-5 Volts, now after reading your responses, I see it was in vain. All LED strips lit up, do you think I still have and LED problem?

  • Re: LG 50UH5530/5500 backlights test good with LED tester....BUT!

    Guys,
I am new here but not new to the electronics repair. I have the same model number LG TV and wished I had schematics of the power board. 50E6000-6L60N. I went through the trouble of checking the LED strips thinking that caused my problem, No video or sound, short flash when turning on 2 Red blinks. All the strips were good by my LED tester. Started to concentrate issue on Power Board after not reading any voltage on STB pin going from power board to main board.

    Any recommendations or help...
