  • Re: 42PFL7422D/37 Service Manual Needed

My inverters came in today. I took out the old ones and popped in the new ones in just a minute or two. Glad to report that it worked! TV has been saved. I definitely could have saved a hundred bucks had I troubleshot a bit more and consulted more of you experts on this forum but I see it has saving a least a grand by fixing my TV and not having to buy a new one! Thanks everyone!

I opened up the back and looked at the two inverters and nothing was apparantly wrong. No burned chips or glaring damage that I could see though I certainly don't claim to know what it is I'm looking at/for. Anyhow, I ordered 2 new inverters from Ebay. They look pretty straight forward to remove/install...just plug and play. For you experts though, is this true? Is it as simple as unplugging the connectors and...
