I have a surface pro 5 that the customer tried replacing battery on their own.
They destroyed the display fpc connector, WiFi antenna and cracked the screen.
l've replaced the connector and got display back up but no touch. Replaced the digitiser board with 2 others still no touch. Replaced the screen 3 times still no touch
The digi connector on the board is perfect from what l've tested and l've also replaced both flex cables too.
Anyone got any ideas? Thanks...

right so while testing the power rails i got to vdd boost and found an issue. c3828 has both pads missing, one side which is vdd boost goes into u3801 which enables a bunch of things from what im seeing, touch, pp2v75, mamba meesa.
the cap c3828 has lost both pads. can i life u3801 and run a jumper from its vdd boost pad to recreate the point for the missing cap?

so ive not found any shorts on the board. ive injected but as you might guess no power draw.
i found cap C7606 practically off the board, barely is connected, i can nudge it and its moving. not taken it off yet.
this board has been worked on by someone before me so its difficult to know whats been done.
the area at the bottom end of the board is missing a bunch of caps and filter. i replaced filters and resister from donor, someone told me C3823 and the 2 next to it arent needed for boot.

Hi everyone. I've got an iPhone 7 with no power. I'm not too familiar with phone board issues would appreciate a little guidance if you can please.
When connected to my PSU is cycles between0.007 to 0.178
With charger connected to lightning i get no voltage on battery connector.
Battery connector plus to negative no short. while charging stuck at .44a no change with new power button flex and charging fles.
phone is recognised in itunes when i put it into dfu mode
Positive terminal diode reading is.478

Previous tech that replaced screen didn't secure it correctly and the flex on the LCD had come loose ��������������

Fuses are good, cable and connectors look good. I have image but no backlight even after injecting. Unfortunately i don't have another display. Seems like the display is bad?...Leave a comment:

right i know i checked 33 and 34 before and had 3v. backlight cntrl only has 1.2v but backlight on has 3v.
does that mean a controller is damaged?

hey all
ive worked on this model before and posted about that one here and found the solution. this is the same model but different machine.
ive checked the fuses f6 f7 and they are fine, and im getting 3v on power on from lcd connector pin 33 or i think 34 35, one of them is backlight power, cant remember of the top of my head.
so im leaning towards this being an actual lcd issue and not a board issue...
just wanted to get some second opinions before ordering a display for this. is there a way to test the actual display? when shining... -

Hey everyone I'm totally lost!
the consoles power was pulled while gaming by customers wife.
I have a ps5 that's got blue light fan spin then powers off. About 2 seconds.
I have 12v, 3.3v, 1.8v 5v. From the power supply input prongs, that line of caps, I have 12v on the positive side.
I read no shorts anywhere on the board at all. I've injected voltage in 2spots following 2 videos from the cod3r and one other, I saw no current draw at all. i not very experienced with voltage injection so i only did what i saw online that was safe. ive attached pics of...
