I have a Dell Precision 7680 (Service Tag: ST-D7H1H94) that was brought in for repair after someone tried to remove the BIOS password.
Unfortunately, they did not make a backup of the original BIOS before flashing.

Current behavior:
  • The laptop powers on, and the keyboard lights up for about 10 seconds,
  • Then it shuts down automatically,
  • No image on screen (completely black, no Dell logo).
It seems that the BIOS is corrupted or incomplete – possibly the wrong image was written.
I have a access to the BIOS chip: GigaDevice GD25B256EYIG...
