Alright, I'll try finding that transistor and caps somewhere nearby here. I'll let you know if i wont find it here.

Ive attached pictures of the board on both sides.
I have used the search and found many useful posts- helped me with measuring the voltage on the wires for instance. but nothing else that was similar to my case, or that I fully understood (I'm sort of a noob with anything that has to do with stuff that technical).

also, if I will eventually plan on giving up fixing it by myself. can anyone direct me to a good ebay/something else seller where i can get a new one, or refurbished one that works?
since there are so many different brands of them. acbel, celetronix,delta. which one is better? the one that i have is acbel.

Hello,
recently my 17" imac G5 stopped working and I've found that some capacitors on it's PSU were either blown or bulged.
I replaced all the capacitors with ones that I've purchased on jimwarholic.com (of course choosing the ones that fit my PSU). but even after replacing them, still no luck and the computer wont turn on, only 1st LED on motherboard lights up, same thing that was before i recapped it.
so i decided to test the different voltages coming from the PSU. While non-jumpered but connected to 220v, I get 5V on wire#9, 5V on #15, and 23.9V on #22 and all others...
