Hi everyone, got my first computer when I was 18! A TRS-80 Model 1 back in 198early(ish) if memory serves - I was apprentice electrician. I hooked up an old Sperry terminal via RS-232 that served as a pretty good printer for many years. My first moden was acoustic.

I have been a PC tech since the original IBM PC was released, and have fixed daisy wheel, laser, shuttle (thanks DataProducts) and dot matrix printers - how far we have come.

I miss the days when you could easily repair a motherboard...
