• Re: Element 40 led blue screen problem

Main board meaning the board that accepts the inputs, not the power board?
I was going to hunt around the main board for any fuses as that may cause a problem with inputs as it did with my RCA. But they are so darn small, may be hard to find. If no fuses, any suggestions apart from looking for bulging capacitors (very small ones on this board and all seem flat)?

There are only 4 boards on this model: Power board, input board, led inverter board and a small board at the bottom. Not technically sure what...

  • Element 40 led blue screen problem

    Howdy.

I have an Element 40 led tv. powers on but has a blue screen with no characters. Screen is uniformely blue so I do not believe the inverters are the issue. None of the buttons work (volume, source). Plugged in an hdmi source and no effect. I do not hav the remote. I have changed the capacitors on the power board but as there was no change (or worsening), I think it is not the power board. Any suggestions? My older RCa had an input issue caused by a tiny fuse that was blown (some inputs, bad audio) but I can't seem to find any other fuses on teh Element except for the main...

  • Re: Polaroid 22" tv no power or standby

I also have the same tv with no power issues. i do not get a ready light. when plugging in, I do hear a hum and believe power is getting through the fuse at least (get 115 volts across fuse and also from load to other side of fuse) but bothing else. The caps seem o.k. but I don't want to start spending money with blind shots. Any ideas? Any advise on how to check transformer for output? Similar tv's are $69 refurb so kind of limits options for repair unless it is a relatively cheap cap issue (and teh refurbs may have the factory caps...

  • Re: LG MU-42PM11 Y-Sus Help!

Hi. Can anyone send a picture of the lg ysus board font and back showing the pin sockets? I hope to install an new "chip" but damaged the underside of the sockets a bit and can't be sure of the interconnectivity of some of the pins. There are some posted but they were taken without flash (thus a slow shutter speed) and are too fuzzy to make out. Thanks

You can send direct to pbarbati@trebnet.com or post to this question.

    Thanks again.Re: LG MU-42PM11 Y-Sus Help!
