Thank you for your reply, howeved i'd like to try saving it. I dont think there was humidity as i live in a place with hot weather and almost 0 humidity the entire year. Rust is really rare to see.

Hi i have one of those crappy Surface Laptop 2 - 256GB i5 8GB
after having it sitting for many years windows came on a BSOD and they wont boot anymore.
Ive had set a UEFI password which i dont recall. Is there a way to bypass it with bios reprogramming or replacing?
