)I also have the same thing, scortch marks on the topside and underside of the board around the transformer (pics attached).
After reading this thread, I plan on resoldering the jumper and replacing the transformer. Would/should I do the caps too?
I'm slightly lost in part numbers now and I'm unsure of which transformer to get, what did you go for,...
