Just following this thread (waiting on a new BIOS Programmer as my old CH341 seems to have died!)
I have a HP ProBook 440 G6 - I get black screen and fans spin, no display and a beep code of 2x long and 2x short beeps - Which indicates BIOS corruption.
I have messed around with USB recovery drives to no success but am familiar with BIOS modification and reprogramming BIOS chips.
Once my new programmer arrives, is it a matter of pulling a dump of the original BIOS (to preserve the machines serial number info etc.) and cleaning the ME region with the previously...

Phew! All good, Dells instructions for BIOS Recovery fortunately worked and I am back up and running again!...

Hi All,
Got the same issue, but fortunately I have a full BIOS dump from this exact machine before I was having issues - Just having issues restoring this backup!.
Something went wrong with a BIOS flash and all I get now on my Wyse 5070 is 3 orange blinks, followed by another 3 orange blinks indicating "BIOS Recovery Image not found" according to Google.
I've got a CH341A Programmer but can't seem to have any success in getting the backup programmed back into the flash. Also hopeless at soldering...
