Re: Toshiba Satellite C650 power on issue
I had this problem from my old Satellite L series. After few times removing and installing the memory card (RAM) the card contacts tend to break the solder joints. These are fine contact leads that are soldered to the main board. You might need some special equipment to resolder the joints. I used a hot air soldering station to resolder the joints and it worked. Then I sold my laptop to a friend and so far it still works up to now. Maybe this problem of yours is just a cold solder joint on the card contacts.

Re: Toshiba Satellite L300 Wont work with charger
Hi I'm new to this forum and I have the same problem with my L300. I took a picture with the part labeled NEC TOKIN capacitor and I would like to confirm with you if this is the one? If so, can you show us how you soldered those smd caps on the board. This is to give me some guide once I desolder this part. If there is no need to remove this part then how did you solder those smd caps correctly? Hope you can enlighten me on how you did it. Thanks in advance from Manila, The Philippines....
