philips plasma half screen
i have a Philips Plasma tv model 42PF9630A/37 with top half of the screen black...i suspect it will be the upper y-sustain buffer....but could the main also be bad??? if the bottom half is still running ok, would you suspect the y-sus main is still good or no??? is there anyway to test this??? i dont want to have to replace the main if it doesnt need it...thank you very much -

Im a DIY working on a 42 philips plasma ... it had the 7 blinking red light...i removed the y-sustain main and the 2 buffers...i have tested the 2 buffers and they are both bad...so how can i test the y-sustain main??? is there a way??? the back of the y-sus main looks discolored a bit but not too sure...i tested the fuse on the y-main but it seems ok...any help would be great thanks PS...the tv model is 42PF7220A/37 the y-sustain main model is LJ92-01200A
