It was a good-working laptop before T2 replacement
    1. Everything’s ok
    2. See #1
    3. With the unlocked T2’s soc rom mac reboots when current becomes 0.9A (but still no picture). With original soc rom from the locked board current is 1.96A, no reboots, both fans are on 100% speed but Apple Configurator still can’t restore the device.
    4. Yep it is.
    5. I have to pull the mac in DFU with a key combination on kb.
    6. Yep. Battery is 100% charged and dc power supply connected....

Hi! Just done T2+soc rom replacement.
Mac charges, touchpad becomes active, it can be connected in DFU mode but restoring T2 in Apple Configurator can’t be finished because restore freezes in the very end of progress bar((
And yep I have black screen too. How did you deal with it?

P.S. USB init tester doesn’t show init(...

Ok maybe u have any logic board with unlocked T2 (FMM off)? Any? I mean MB Air 1932 or any? I think T2 replacement only can solve the problem and I just want to try it.
One guy sent me a video where one Chinese guy replaces T2 and make it work.....

I can give you my own one. I’ve got my A2141 locked. But actually I wanted to try to make it work by myself…)
Or you can sell me that ICs

P.S. I think that NANDs are not necessary to replace. But I still can be wrong....

Of course, cuz activation lock is initially a hardware problem...

Swapping chips is still a working solution for iPhones. Of course, if we're talking about iPhones it may not worth it, but the solution itself works.

That's why I thought if it works with a macbook....

Yeah I know it's complicated. I made many T2 reballs but it was just a reball.
And now I want to unlock the locked logic board by replacing T2.

So the main question is if it's enough just to replace locked T2 by the unlocked one (and it's SPI) or I have to replace some else ICs (wifi, nand, etc.)?...

    Re: T2 Chip Programmer Tool

    Hey guys!
Sorry for my english. I know it’s poor cuz I’m from Ukraine))

Look, I’ve got AppleID locked MB Pro A2141 and I wonder if I can unlock it.
As I know Apple blocked jailbreak ability on the last MacOS.
I’ve got another A2141 logic board with issues and it has FMM OFF.

So I wonder if it’s possible to replace some IC’s from the defective logic board with FMM off to my locked board? Has anybody done this before?
Should I replace T2 itself + SPI or should I replace...
