BTW, I found the second Winbond Rom with a capacity of 1 MB (25Q80DVIG) onboard.
What is it for?

Location of the BIOS ROM Chip: HP Elite x2 1013 G3
Where is the ROM chip containing the main BIOS of "HP Elite x2 1013 G3" located on the main system board? I removed the internal metal covers and looked into the entire surface of the board, but I couldn't find anything looking like it.
(I could easily for 1012 G1 and 1012 G2)
Thanks in advance!Location of

Ch341 won't read only when the chip soldered
CH341 says "IC not responding" only when an SPI test clip is used and the chip has been soldered on the mainboard.
I tried "free" (unsoldered) chips (sop8 & wson8) WITH the same programmer, SAME TEST CLIP and same pin connecter AS ABOVE and they can all be read.

Re: Hp elite x2 g2 1012
Sorry, this is NOT an answer, but the previous similar threads are already closed...
I wonder did the previous persons get good results in successful writing their files WITH THEIR BIOS CHIPS DESOLDERED??
