i'm using t48 programmer with xgpro and i've selected w25q256jw wson ic and using a clamp and i've read it mutiply time and verify it successfully how ever everytime i zip it the file is only 38kb am i doing something wrong? i have remove and reclamp mutiply times...Leave a comment:

LG 50PM6700 screeching noise from speaker
HI
Friend of mine has a LG TV 50PM6700 that has a number of issue,
1. when the TV is turn on (Working played video from HDMI )after a couple of minutes it makes a screeching noise that comes from the internal speakers and the TV appears to freeze on a blank screen.
2. Switching the TV on and off immediately LG logo comes on but TV appears to still be frozen won't respond to button on TV except Power.
3. When completely disconnected from Power and left for a couple of minutes and switch back on it will do a repeat of step one so will work for a couple of minutes... -

I end up returning the laptop to my cousin in a semi working state, I Like to thank mon2 for the help they provided in trying to diagnose the issue and hope that the diagnostic step in the thread help other people who have the same laptop and are having similar issues.

I assume the battery has to be connected to test this
Plugged in voltage around 4V +-0.5
not plugged in Voltage is 0.02V

Not sure if i did it correctly but was not able to find a good location to check the resistance so i went with what was close
CHGR_CSO_FILT_P C5261 Pin 1 - R5262 pin 1 = 1.4 ohms

My Hot air station max out at 500c was not able to remove the mosfet
also borrow a 61W apple charger and the gate was 12V

Having difficult removing it what the max safe temp i can use?
Atm i'm at 400'c for 20sec and its not budging with flux also on it.
Tested on a Practice board and the SMD came off is the solder on Apple board require a high temp to remove?

Laptop belongs to my cousin but yes i believe everything was working before and the same USB cable was used, and i tested with a different USB-C charger a HP 65W and the same thing happened plug in turns on but still say not charging and i believe the fault just occurred recentlyLeave a comment:
