My Sony KD-70X690E has started behaving strange. The system takes a very long time to turn on. Once it is on, the display is very dim and seems to be very blue.
All HDMI ports behave the same, as well as the built in apps, and the menus.
The audio seems to be fine, as does the wireless connection.
I have tried doing a factory reset in the picture/color areas but the same result is seen. The main Sony logo is not seen during boot, despite being set to display.
I know this is very little to go on, so are there any next steps that can be...

Re: New Members - please post your introductions here
Adding another member to your ranks. I am from Austin, TX. I am a software developer by trade, but a hardware tinkerer by hobby (and some times necessity). I enjoy fixing my hardware rather than dumping it in the trash. Keep the earth a little greener, while saving a little green.
Looking forward to expanding my dabbling from vintage computers and game console repair to TVs. (The TV's have become out of necessity... as of late)
