Hi. I recently purchased an Insignia NS-P42Q-10A (samsung guts). It had sound but no picture. I found a burnt chip on the y-buffer. Changed y-buffer. Tv now working fine except for a small vertical line on the screen. The line is about 1/16 inch wide and is only visible on the upper half of the screen. The bottom half of the screen is fine. It changes color depending on the picture on the screen but is red when the screen is dark and green when the screen is light but can vary in color also so that sometimes it is hard to see. Hi. I just bought an insignia 42 inch plasma model# NS-P42Q-10A. It has no picture but sound ok.(I cannot afford to buy a working one) The first time I turned it on I saw a few green and red sparckles all over the screen. I hear some clicking noises.The red light beside the power switch blinks about 5 times then tv shuts off. Hi. I just picked up a LG RU-42PX10C plasma tv and was hoping to be able to fix it. I have repaired 2 LCD's previously and recapped a bad computer monitor. All went well. This one has a 1 inch wide black stripe running top to bottom. I thought it was the connector thing with the aluminum plate (if its called a that) from the screen to the 6870QCE014B main logic controll board. Tried resoldering the 4 black things with 100 written on them(sorry i'm new to this and don't know what they are called or how to test them although I get 10 ohms across them all).
